Indian Pavilion Inaugurated At World Hydrogen Summit

Indian officials inaugurated the India pavilion at the World Hydrogen Summit 2025 in Rotterdam, Netherlands on May 20. Present on the occasion were Santosh Kumar Sarangi, Secretary, MNRE, and Indian ambassador to Netherlands Kumar Tuhin, both of whom delivered address at the pavilion.

Mr Sarangi, in his keynote address, highlighted the critical role of green hydrogen as a clean energy vector, with the potential to decarbonize hard to abate sectors such as steel production, transportation, and shipping.

He detailed India’s proactive measures under the National Green Hydrogen Mission, aimed at fostering a resilient and enabling green hydrogen ecosystem within the country.

The India pavilion showcases India’s capabilities in the Green Hydrogen sector and aims to facilitate global partnerships, attract international investment, and promote trade opportunities for the Indian Green Hydrogen industry.

Visitors to the Pavilion will also have the opportunity to engage with interactive exhibits highlighting the development of a comprehensive green hydrogen value chain in India.
