Jakson Green Signs Agreement With SECI To Supply Green Ammonia
Green energy platform Jackson on April 6, 2026 announced that it has signed a green ammonia purchase agreement (GAPA) with the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI). Under this agreement, Jakson Green will supply green ammonia to Coromandel International Limited located in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh.
This supply of green ammonia will take place under Indian government’s Strategic Interventions for Green Hydrogen Transition (SIGHT) Programme – Component II: Incentive for Procurement of Green Ammonia Production (under Mode-2A) Scheme of the National Green Hydrogen Mission (NGHM). It is expected to begin commence supply of green ammonia by 2029.
The contract is valued at approximately $465 million, and follows the Letter of Award (LoA) given by SECI in August 2025. Jakson Green had participated in a competitive auction conducted by SECI.
Jakson Green’s Vice Chairman & Global CEO commented on the GAPA signing, saying, “This agreement underscores our commitment to building robust, future‑ready green energy solutions at scale. We are proud to be one of the contributors in NGHM which has been designed to accelerate India’s transition towards clean energy, strengthen energy security and build domestic capabilities across the green ammonia value chain.”
Jakson Green has ongoing EPC projects in the green molecules business with an AAA rated public sector undertaking. The contract envisages three distinct and integrated plants for ethanol, carbon capture and hydrogen with capacities of 10 TPD, 25 TPD and 3 TPD, respectively.
