Power Finance Corporation Launches Upskilling Program For Professionals

Power Finance Corporation of India (PFC) launched a virtual training program targeted at power sector professionals.

Titled Digital Utility Manager (DUM), the program is a part of the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS) with support from the UK Government’s Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) under the ASPIRE program. It is designed as a self-paced program that power sector professionals can use to upskill themselves.

Professionals enrolling in the DUM program will learn about emerging technologies that are shaping the power sector. They will also gain practical insights into energy storage, Evs, and blockchain. The course is designed to enable these professionals to drive digital transformation towards energy sustainability, as well as help them to strengthen operational aspects, business models, and policies.

A statement by PFC said that the UM program focuses on enhancing knowledge of emerging digital technologies, ensuring India’s energy sector remains at the forefront of efficiency and sustainability.
