Solidus Reaches Milestone Of 200 MW Solar Power Commissioned
Solar energy solutions provider Solidus Techno Power announced on April 22, 2026 that it has commissioned Punjab’s largest solar project with a capacity of 40MW. The project has been commissioned under the captive open access policy.
The project, developed for Aarti International Ltd. And Aarti Steel International Ltd. In Fazilka district of Punjab, will produce 85 million units of solar energy annually, offsetting nearly 80,000 tons of CO2 in the process.
Speaking on the occasion Solidus MD Mr. Harvinder Singh, said, “The successful commissioning of this project reflects our unwavering commitment to accelerating India’s clean energy transition. Delivering Punjab’s largest captive open access solar project is not just an achievement for Solidus, but a significant step toward enabling industries to adopt sustainable and cost-efficient energy solutions at scale.”
Solidus CEO Mr. Jaspal Singh, further added, “Taking this momentum forward, this project is more than a transition to clean energy—it is a decisive move to future-proof our operations, accelerate decarbonization, and lead the transformation toward a resilient, low-carbon economy.”
With the commissioning of the solar project, Solidus said it has completed installation of 200 MW across north India. Till date, the company has completed nearly 23 solar installation projects, with two more in progress. In addition, the company has two upcoming projects lined up.
