SWITCH Mobility Rolls Out 1000th Electric Mini-Truck
Hinduja-backed Switch Mobility India announced on March 6 the successful roll out of its 1000th SWITCH eLCV at its Hosur facility in Tamil Nadu. The announced was made on its social media handles.
The SWITCH eLCV line of vehicles constitute electric mini-trucks with payload of 1.25 and 1.75 tonnes. Currently SWITCH Mobility offers two variants, the SWITCH IeV3 with a payload of 1.25 tonnes, and the SWITCH IeV4 that comes with a payload of 1.75 tonnes.
The 1000th eLCV was the SWITCH IeV3.
Commenting on the milestone, SWITCH Mobility CEO Mahesh Babu wrote on X, “From concept to reality, from one to a thousand, we’re electrifying last-mile logistics like never before.”
SWITCH Mobility commented on the milestone by saying that the achievement represented more than just a number, it was a testament to the company’s commitment to sustainable logistics and zero-emission mobility.
