Tata Power Solar Signs Deal With Maharashtra Govt

Tata Power Solar, a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL), announced on January 27 that it had signed a contract with the Maharashtra State Power Generation Company Limited (MSPGCL) for supplying it with 300 MWp of ALMM-certified solar modules.

Under this deal, Tata Power will deliver the solar modules to multiple locations across Maharashtra this year.

This deal falls under the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana (MSKVY) 2.0 project and is valued at Rs 455 crore.

The solar panels for this deal are expected to be made at Tata Power Solar’s olar cell and module manufacturing plant in Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu using advanced TOPCon and Mono PERC technologies and made-in-India cells.
