Global electric vehicles sales rise 109% in 2021, Tesla led with 14 % share
The total global car market, struggling with Covid-19 curbs and chip shortages, grew about 4 percent year-on-year in 2021, of which EV sales constituted 9 percent of all passenger car sales.
